I am generously delighted to be appointed as a commandant of this APF United Nation Peace Keeping Training School (UNPTS) and hence I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to APF Headquarters, Departments and National Armed Police Force Academy respectively for continuing profound and unwavering support during my tour of duty.

 This school, established on February 5, 2012 as a dedicated School for peace keeping operation, is located in between the ridge of sceneric Mountains of Bagmati Province, Nuwakot district, Kakani Rural Municipality-5, extends up to 2040 meters of height and approximately 23 km North-West from the capital city Kathmandu with partially metal led road axis.

The UNPTS having motto of Knowledge, Peace and Neutrality since its establishment has been an iconic identical, dedicated and milestone of excellence, equipping and imparting comprehensive knowledge of UN FPU pre-deployment training for APF personnel (those nominated to serve UN) and refresher training for (those who have successfully completed the UN mission). It conducts training on FPU TOT, IPPOs and other supplementary training organized by UN and APF. It also exchanges acquired experiences among the stakeholders within domestic and international domain.

Additionally, School also provides essential suggestions regarding UN peacekeeping issues to the higher chain of command of organization, conducts other trainings mentioned in annual calendar and other training as instructed by the organization.

This school feels proud in having decade-long glorious history in the fulfillment of commitment in producing competent UN peacekeepers with adherence to UN requirements served by professional and experienced trainers that composes UN recognized/certified trainers as well as sound logistic equipments.

As Excellency never delimits the progressive advancement and is a rigorous process for further improvements, hence after the School steadfastly vows in fulfilling onerous tasks and keenly looks forward transcending the faith and vision of organization upholding the core values of UN (Professionalism, Integrity and Respect for Diversity) by extending and fostering Knowledge, Peace and Neutrality collectively.
